I created the visual effects and motion graphics for this Archer Season 3 promo – an homage to the title sequence of the classic 1960s detective series, Ironside.

The sequence was created using only stock AE effects, no 3rd party plugins. In addition to creating a custom worn out VHS effect (which I would later perfect on the Archer DVD Extra Cooking With Milton), I simulated the soft glowing distortion of vintage film typography and the unique way it interacts with the graphics and footage underneath. The 'All New Thursdays 10pm' banner was added by the FX Network.
